Two days!

I'll be leaving for Uganda in two days. I've set up this website to function as a mini-blog. We won't have internet for some of the trip, but, when we do, I'll be trying to post on social media and/or here with my thoughts.

We've received a tentative schedule filled with long bus rides, exciting observations and meetings with the program, its administrators, and its participants, and many of the beautiful sights of natural Uganda. I have some last-minute minor acquisitions to make such as trying to find a pair of binoculars, buying a durable sun hat since mine is a cheapo that flies off my head if someone breathes on me, and getting some emergency protein bars in case there's a meal I can't really eat (because that never happens or anything).
